UK Fire Door Training has joined the Aston Villa Foundation Community Partnership as an official Foundation Community Partner, delivered by Eleven Sports Media in collaboration with the Aston Villa Foundation.

For us, this is a values-led decision.

The Aston Villa Foundation has spent more than 30 years delivering meaningful, measurable community programmes across Birmingham, working with over 30,000 children and young people each year through education, employment, health and wellbeing initiatives. Its work reflects a long-term commitment to local people, opportunity and inclusion, delivered on behalf of Aston Villa Football Club.

UK Fire Door Training was built on the belief that standards matter, competence matters and responsibility matters. That does not stop at the classroom door. Supporting local communities and backing organisations that deliver real social impact is part of how we believe responsible businesses should operate.

This partnership is not about promotion or profile. It is about contributing, in a small but tangible way, to programmes that improve lives across our region, from education and employability to health, inclusion and wellbeing.

Jonny Millard, Managing Director of UK Fire Door Training, said:

“We see this as a responsibility, not a marketing exercise. The Aston Villa Foundation does serious work in the communities we live and work in, and supporting that aligns with how we run our business. Localism, ethical practice and long-term thinking are not add-ons for us. They are fundamental.”

As a Foundation Community Partner, UK Fire Door Training is proud to stand alongside other West Midlands organisations supporting initiatives such as Villa Vision, the Villa Catering Club and Everybody’s Game, programmes designed to remove barriers, create opportunity and widen participation.

While the partnership includes a matchday presence, that visibility is secondary. What matters is backing a Foundation with a proven track record, deep roots in Birmingham and a clear focus on delivering outcomes, not headlines.

This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, ethical leadership and supporting the communities that ultimately rely on safer buildings, higher standards and competent work.
