Our face-to-face practical training takes place at our Wolverhampton training centre. It is a 2-day course, with Day 1 being classroom-based and knowledge-focused, and Day 2 dedicated to practical training in fire door installation.

Upon completing the course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion recognised by FireQual.

Course Description

This two-day classroom course is designed to enhance your skills, knowledge, and set you on a path to competence as a fire door installer.

This is a FireQual Recognised Programme. 

Day 1 covers theory, providing essential knowledge.

Day 2 offers practical, hands-on training in installing a composite door, doorset, and door assembly.

This course is ideal for site carpenters, fire door technicians, site managers, or anyone seeking to improve their fire door installation skills and knowledge. 

Upon completion of the course you will be added to UK Fire Door Training Approved. This is included at no extra cost. 

You will also receive an ‘Approved’ version of our logo to use on promotional materials.

Upon completion of the course

This course finishes with an assessment. Upon passing the assessment you will receive a digital FireQual Recognised Programme certificate. This certificate is a key component of showcasing your proficiency and demonstrates part of your competency in fire door installation works. The certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of passing the assessment.

Please note that a competent person is someone with sufficient skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours. 

Hard copy certificate can be issued upon request.
