Our face-to-face practical training takes place at our Wolverhampton training centre. This is a 3-day course.

Upon successful completion, you will receive three separate certificates for Fire Door Installation, Fire Door Inspection and Fire Door Maintenance, each issued by FireQual as part of each FireQual Recognised Programme.

Course Description

This three day programme brings together three separate FireQual Recognised Programmes, providing an intensive and highly practical learning experience covering fire door installation, maintenance and inspection in depth.

Across the three days you will spend significant time on the tools under expert, qualified instructors who are experienced site carpenters and competent persons.

You will work on real door sets and door assemblies, carry out practical installation and maintenance tasks, complete inspection activities and receive direct feedback throughout, ensuring you gain meaningful hands-on experience.

This all-in-one practical programme represents outstanding value.

Normally priced at £2,085 plus VAT, you can enrol for £995 plus VAT and complete one FireQual recognised programme covering installation, maintenance and inspection in a single, comprehensive course.

Upon completion of the course you will be added to UK Fire Door Training Approved. This is included at no extra cost.

You will also receive an ‘Approved’ version of our logo to use on promotional materials.

Upon completion of the course

This course finishes with an assessment. Upon passing the assessment you will receive 3 separate FireQual certificates. One each for Fire Door Installation, Fire Door Maintenance and Fire Door Inspection. 

These certificates are a key component of showcasing your proficiency and demonstrates part of your competency in fire door installation, inspection and maintenance. The certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of passing the assessment.

Please note that a competent person is someone with sufficient skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours.
